Flixtime: An analysis

Technical features:
  •  Create a video 
    • Customize it with your text, photos/videos, and music
    • Add transitions and effects
    •  Move, rotate, and duplicate images
  • Requires Javascript turned on in your broswer
  • Choice of video format 
    • MP4, DivX, H.264, and FLV files 
    • All in 640 x  360 resolution
    • Smaller MP4 file (for iPods and other video players)
  • User may upload up to 60 files to Flixtime
    • Video clips are limited to 10 seconds per clip 
    • After their beta period, the user may upload a limitless amount of images
  • User may share their Flixtime video 
    •  For example, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, email, and many more!
    • Or download the video straight to your computer

  •  "Day in the life" project accompanied by student selected music
  •  Speech presentation 
  • Native land explorers
    • Using Flip cams, students will explore their neighborhood and introduce various interesting facts about their hometown 
  •  Short promotional videos created by students 
    • SGA, athletics, clubs
  • Student created "All about me" icebreakers
